Margarita Wrestling wrestles up $10,000 donation to Susan G. Komen brest cancer foundation following Ultra

Music appearance

MIAMI, April 12, 2006 – Think 5 Entertainment President, Ken Tayloe and executive producer, Debra Caprio presented Bobbi Meyers, executive director of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation's Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. affiliate, a check in the amount of $10,000 following the appearance of Margarita Wrestling at the Ultra Music Fest at the Miami Airport Marriott hotel following the festival.

Margarita Wrestling, a non-politically correct, "Improvisational Sports Theater" wowed a crowd of more than 50,000 at this year's Ultra Music Fest while on-lookers cheered the bikini clad women executing take-down moves in the Miami sun in a "believe it or not" bowl filled with margarita mix. At the end of the event, consisting of sixteen sizzling rounds and four teams made up of the Hollywood Stars, Las Vegas Diva's, Denver Elements and New York Drivers, a winner was announced.

Margarita Wrestling makes a difference in the lives of women by donating 15% of gross proceeds to breast cancer research and women's causes. Bobbi Meyers said, "So many new start up companies would save the profits for themselves. I am really impressed that Think 5 Entertainment chooses to give so generously to women's causes. It shows a genuine selfless attitude that you don't see much of these days and I am thrilled they selected our foundation to make a donation."

OUR GOAL : To donate over $1,000,000.00 to help fight Breast Cancer

Margarita Wrestling is a entrainment event produced by Think 5 Entertainment, Inc. Margarita Wrestling is a for-profit event that makes a core part of its business model donating a significant percentage of its total proceeds to targeted causes that benefit women of all ages and ethnicities. 51% of all charity monies that Margarita Wrestling donates will go to our main cause, which is for Breast Cancer Research and Awareness [ Susan G. Komen Foundation ]. The remaining 49% will go to battered women's shelters, women college scholarships and women's business scholarships.

Margarita Wrestling feels that entertaining productions like the “non-politically correct fundraising”™ format, that has bikini-clad women wrestling in a margarita bowl in the name of fighting breast cancer will draw considerable money from a demographic that usually does not attend fundraising events, which is the 18-39 age male demographic.

In general, most participants of fundraising events are high school students or the over-40 demographic that attend the popular black tie events. Even though women between the ages 18-39 do help in the raising of millions of dollars to help fight different causes, males tend to help much less in the raising of money for important causes such as Breast Cancer Research. In our opinion, it is not that younger males don't want to help donate to these causes, but rather, there is a lack of options that would attract the attention of this tech-savvy, hi-impact demographic. This demographic thrives off instant-stimulation, which they're willing to spend premium dollars on to attend in person, as well as watch via TV, the Internet, pay-per-view and video games.

Margarita wrestling raises money for breast cancer

A group of Hermosans has turned a pastime of pitting half naked women in a gelatinous wrestling ring into a fundraiser for breast cancer.

“We love breasts. We want to save them,” said Ken Tayloe, who presented a $1,700 check to the Susan G. Komen breast cancer foundation on Tuesday from money the group raised on the Fourth of July.

“I find it intriguing because this is a different approach to fundraising,” said Betty Rodriguez, executive director of the Komen Foundation's Los Angeles County affiliate.

Tayloe said he plans to host Margarita Wrestling events or variations of the theme throughout the country, using the one held in Hermosa on Second Street last month as a model. The ultimate goal is to make a reality television show series that travels the country turning house parties into rowdy breast cancer fundraising events. For each of the upcoming events, Tayloe pledges to donate at least $5,000 to fight breast cancer.

Tayloe and more than 30 associates raised money on July 4 through sponsorships and cocktails in connection with a house party and wrestling event. Rockstar Energy Drink and Rodnik Vodka each donated significant amounts of its product, which the group mixed into cocktails and sold at two houses on the Strand .

“We see that there is a whole demographic of fundraising left out of the realm. This non-politically correct format allows us to push the envelope,” Tayloe said.

The event brought surging crowds to a tight gathering on the sand. Laker Luke Walton, a local resident, sat close to the action, getting splashed with lime .

margarita mixed with Jell-O in a children's wading pool that held the wrestlers. Several video cameras caught the action as referees in full uniform officiated from their knees.

About 35 women volunteered to wrestle each other in the name of defeating breast cancer. Participants were given gift bags with handouts such as free hair styling in Beverly Hills .

The 35-year-old Tayloe has promoted a new business before. He helped create a company in West Virginia called Privo, which sells a computer program that helps companies comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. He left the corporation to his sister three years ago before moving to Hermosa
